YEREVAN. – Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan chaired a consultation devoted to the avenues for the development of the information and telecommunication technologies in Armenia.
The PM noted that the information technology (IT) sector has great potential for development in the country and it is at the focus of the Government of Armenia. Abrahamyan stressed that the government stands ready to assist in the further progress of this sector in the country.
In this context, the participants in the consultation discussed several respective matters.
Armenia’s private sector representatives, for their part, expressed their willingness to make relevant capital investments.
