ETCHMIADZIN. – Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II and Catholicos Aram I of the Great House of Cilicia will chair, at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, the Assembly of Bishops of the Armenian Apostolic Church.   

On this occasion, Karekin II and Aram I, accompanied by the bishops of the Church, on Monday will visit the Armenian Genocide Memorial in capital city Yerevan, informed the Mother See Information Services. At the memorial, a requiem service will be offered in memory of the victims of the genocide.

The official opening of the Assembly of Bishops will be held on Tuesday at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
