YEREVAN. - In Armenia a man who was previously convicted five times, killed his friend after an argument over a mobile phone, Armenian Newn - NEWS.am reports.
The murder occurred near the Aygavan village of Ararat region, where one month ago the body of 38-year-old Karen Barseghyan was found. On the face of the victim signs of violence were observed.
The investigation revealed that on the day of his death Karen Barseghyan was in the company of his fellow villager Rafik Ghevondian, who was previously convicted five times. The two men used alcohol and then argued over Ghevondyan’s lost phone. Ghevondian assumed that his phone was stolen. The argument ended in a murder.
Rafik Ghevondian was arrested.
