Tajikistan authorities have detained over twenty members of the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan terrorist group, which was planning on carrying out terrorist and sabotage activities on several Tajik strategic objects.     

Tajikistan Interior Minister, Police Lieutenant General Ramadan Rahimzoda informed the aforementioned, reported TASS news agency of Russia. 

He added that “[Muslim] martyrs’ belts,” explosives, and extremist literature were found in the possession of some detainees.
