The Presidents of Russia and Turkey – Vlaidmir Putin and Recep Tayyp Erdogan – plan to meet in December to discuss new directions in cooperation.

According to RIA Novisti agency, President Putin said the relations with Turkey have reached a new level, and have become of strategic importance in some areas, in particular in energy sector.

“We have developed close interaction with President Erdogan. We expect to draw new directions for dynamical movement during the December meeting of Russian-Turkish Cooperation Council,” Putin said.
