The chances of Armenia and Georgia are virtually the same in terms of attracting Russian tourists this winter.
Rena Galustova, the Head of Central Asia and Caucasus Department at Zharkov Tour tourism agency, stated the aforementioned.
Galustova told RATA-news that the relatively low cost of flight is an advantage for Armenia.
The ticket for a roundtrip flight between Moscow and Yerevan costs 17,000 Russian rubles (approx. $320), whereas a Moscow-Tbilisi roundtrip flight ticket is sold for around 30,000 rubles (approx. $563).
