Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland nominated Jerzy Marek Nowakowski as a new ambassador to Armenia.

During the ceremony, ambassadors to Armenia, Azerbaijan, Malta, France and Sweden were nominated.

Jerzy Marek Nowakowski served as the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Riga since 2010. From 1997 to 2001 he worked at t he office of the Prime Minister. He is an author of numerous publications on modern history and international politics. He speaks English and Russian, Poland MFA's website reported.
