YEREVAN. – An Armenian delegation, led by Minister of Finance Gagik Khachatryan, was in Sochi, Russia.
The delegation participated in the 60th meeting of the Council of Heads of Customs Services of the CIS member states, and the 13th meeting of the United Board of the Customs Services of the Customs Union (CU) member states, informed the Ministry of Finance of Armenia.
The Ministry delegation participated as an observer in the meeting of the United Board of the CU Customs Services. Incidentally, the Armenian capital city of Yerevan will host the 14th meeting of this board, which is slated for the first quarter of next year.
In addition, the Armenian delegation took part in a meeting with the heads of the customs services of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. They discussed the coordination of information systems within the framework of Armenia’s forthcoming accession to the Russia-led Eurasian Economic Union.
