YEREVAN – Uruguay Vice President Danilo Astori on Monday visited Memorial to the Armenian Genocide victims in Yerevan.

The guest from Uruguay was accomponied by head of Armenia-Uruguay friendship group Sukias Avetisyan.

The official said he was impressed with how Armenians honor memory of the victims. He added Armenia must be confident  that friendly Uruguay is ready to provide assistance in international recognition of the Armenian Genocide.

Danilo Astori also visited the museum and got familiarized with the exposition and documents.
