Russians are dreaming of a Christmas in Barcelona, but are heading to Yerevan, says a report by Russian Kommersant FM radio station.
The journalists talked to representatives of travel agencies who said their clients are returning tickets because of ruble depreciation.
“The Russians are dreaming of a Christmas in Barcelona, but are going to Yerevan. Munich is replaced by Saint Petersburg, while Goa by Ufa [capital of Bashkortostan],” travel agent says.
Many Russians have rejected the idea of spending holidays abroad.
