YEREVAN. – The current unpredictable fluctuations in the currency exchange rates in Armenia have created a real chaos especially among the businessmen who conduct imports into the country, Irates De Facto newspaper reported.

“These days they are storing their products, since there is a huge fear of having losses once [they are] sold.

‘“We change the prices three times in one day,’ they state, and argue that unless the market stabilizes [in Armenia], they will not engage in wholesale trade [in the country], since it is too risky.

“The stored product will enter the market when the traders sense that they are insured from financial losses as much as possible,” Irates De Facto wrote.
