YEREVAN. – The Rosselkhoznadzor (Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of the Russian Federation) will reinspect the eleven companies which export meat products from Armenia to Russia.

The Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Armenia, Grisha Baghiyan, told reporters on Friday that the respective Russian delegation will arrive in Armenia next week.

In November, eleven Armenia-based enterprises had received licenses to export meat products to Russia. Now, however, these companies will be inspected yet again.

Last week, experts from the Rosselkhoznadzor had inspected the fish farms in Armenia and, as a result, two more companies were issued export permits to Russia. There are 22 such enterprises at present.
