YEREVAN. - The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 459.30/$1 in Armenia on Thursday, falling by 1.80 points as compared with Wednesday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 562.23 (down by AMD 0.45), that of one British pound was AMD 714.12 (down by 2.80), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 8.81 (up by AMD 0.35), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 232.87 AMD 17,362.11, and AMD 7,469.17, respectively.

The sales totaled $1.1 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 460.34/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 460/$1.
