YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia received a report on Sunday at 6:09pm.

Accordingly, a fire had broken out on the roof a downtown building in capital city Yerevan.

A Crisis Management center rescue squad, three firefighting teams, and one aerial ladder fire truck were dispatched to the scene, the Ministry Rescue Service informed.

As a result, the fire was put out at 6:44pm, but the wooden constructions—of about 15 square meters—of the roof were destroyed by the fire.
