Armenia sets records on the increase of tourist inflow from Russia.

According to the information by Hotels.com online reservation website, the number of Russian tourists who have booked hotels in Armenia since last April went up by 385%.

The S7 air company conducting daily Moscow-Yerevan flights reported of 4% growth in passenger traffic as compared with the same period in 2009.

The experts explain increasing demand by low prices. Thus, the average price for a week tour of Armenia reaches 25, 000 rubles, including the tickets, accommodation, excursions, insurance, breakfast and dinner, Gazeta newspaper reports.

Germany, Czech Republic and Belgium are also popular among Russian tourists.
