An Armenian Genocide monument will be erected in Las Vegas, USA.

The Board of Trustees of Clark County in Las Vegas approved this initiative.

The monument will be placed in Sunset Park in Las Vegas, informed the Facebook page of the Kantsasar Armenian newspaper of Syria.

The Armenian-American Cultural Center will allocate $200,000 for the construction of this monument, its architectural design, insurance fund, and to ensure its safety.

Sunset Park is one of Las Vegas’ largest parks, and it covers an area of around 57,000 square meters.
