YEREVAN. - The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 476.39 /$1 in Armenia on Wednesday, going down by 1.52 points as compared with Tuesday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 551.14 (down by AMD 3.81), that of one British pound was AMD 719.73 (down by AMD 4.59), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 7.23 (down by AMD 0.11), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 271.2, AMD 19,571.37, and AMD 19,421.56, respectively.

The sales totaled $900,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 471.33/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 471/$1.
