Armenian national public figure, great friend of the Armenian culture, and benefactor Souren Artinian has passed away on Thursday. 

Artinian died in Beirut, Lebanon, at the age of 77, his relatives told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

They also informed that, acceding to his wishes, Artinian will be laid to his eternal rest in Armenia.    

The funeral service for Souren Artinian will take place next week.
