The Karabakh conflict is not interesting for the world community at the moment, Russian politician believes.

The world politics is focused on Ukraine, the only interest of world politicians is that there would be no war in Karabakh, and everything could remain as it is, Irina Khakamada told haqqin.az website.

“Any violation of the existing status quo will be harmful for both Azerbaijan and Armenia. There is an example of Ukraine,” said Khakamada, member of the civil society and human right council at Russian president.

Asked whether she thinks that Azerbaijan would suffer the same fate as Ukraine if the country resumes hostilities, Khakamada replied: “Unfortunately, yes”.
