The Georgian customs officers have seized a large amount of cocaine at the Ninotsminda Customs Checkpoint on the Armenia-Georgia border.

The Minister of Finance of Georgia, Nodar Khaduri, informed about the aforesaid on Rustavi 2 TV of Georgia, Newsgeorgia.ru reported.

“Over six kilograms of cocaine were discovered, which Bulgarian citizens attempted to enter into Georgia. The case has been transferred to the Ministry of Internal Affairs [of Georgia],” the minister noted.
