Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will visit Armenia within the framework of a regular summit of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) to be held in Yerevan.
CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha stated that the Russian President and his Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan had reached agreement on the issue.
Medvedev plans to arrive on a state visit to Armenia in the second half of August.
The CSTO comprises Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
