YEREVAN. – Armenia's Foreign Ministry condemns terrorist attack in Egypt, spokesperson for the ministry Tigran Balayan said in a statement.

“We strictly condemn terrorist attack in North Sinai that claimed lives of dozens of servicemen and civilians. We offer our sincere condolences to the families and friends, as well as entire friendly nation of Egypt. We express our solidarity in fight against terrorism,” Balayan said.

The situation in North Sinai escalated following series of attacks organized by Islamic State's Egypt wing. Around 30 people were killed and over 100 wounded in a terrorist attack on January 29.
