YEREVAN. – Assessing the fact that President Serzh Sargsyan’s response clearly sets out his view on the Pan-Armenian Declaration on the 100th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, opposition Armenian National Congress Party (ANCP) Chairman and First President Levon Ter-Petrosyan is fully satisfied with Sargsyan’s response to his recent article.  

ANCP Press Secretary Arman Musinyan told the aforementioned to iLur.am. In his words, Sargsyan considers this declaration to be a wonderful document which expresses the will of all Armenians.  

“Ter-Petrosyan, on the other hand, considers this declaration to be a document fraught with risk for Armenia and Karabakh, and that it cannot express the will of all Armenians without a referendum. The rest is for the society and the generations to judge.

“Accordingly, since the debate [of theirs] is public, Ter-Petrosyan no longer sees a need for a private talk with Sargsyan,” Musinyan added.
