YEREVAN. – The Armenian government makes smart and active people leave the country, head of ANC faction Levon Zurabyan said in the parliament on Tuesday.

Zurabyan said it is for the first time that people are fleeing Armenia in time of peace. The only honest statement was made by RPA MP Artak Zakaryan, the MP said.

“He cited an example of Armenia's diplomatic work. But the work must be judged by a ready document. The last favorable documents on Karabakh were adopted in 90s. In 2005 there was an awful PACE resolution that said about occupation of Nagorno-Karabakh – the thing that was never touched upon during Levon Ter-Petrosyan's presidency. In 2008 the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution recognizing Karabakh as a part of Azerbaijan. Now PACE is preparing another resolution,” Zurabyan said.
