YEREVAN. – Deputy of Prosperous Armenia parliamentary group Mushegh Petoyan decided to quit the faction, Speaker Galust Sahakyan said on Thursday.

Earlier Prosperous Armenia members Aragats Akhoyan, Harutyun Gharagozyan, Karo Karapetyan, Grigory Margaryan and Davit Kocharyan expressed willingness to continue their work in parliament as independent MPs. Melik Manukyan has handed over a petition to give up his parliamentary seat, but later changed his mind and now plans to withdraw the paper to continue his career as an independent MP.
