YEREVAN. – The National Assembly (NA) of Armenia will hold a special session on March 3. Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the NA Information and Public Relations Department that, by the decision of NA Speaker Galust Sahakyan, pursuant to the Constitution, and at the initiative of the government, the aforementioned special session will be held, and it will be convened with the agenda specified by the initiator. 

As reported earlier, Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan chaired a special meeting of the government on Friday. And guided by the Constitution, the government decided to propose to the NA speaker to convene a special parliament session on March 3.

The NA session’s agenda will include the draft laws on making amendments and changes to the laws on profit tax; turnover tax; the President’s remuneration, service and safety; burials, cemeteries and crematoriums; citizenship; and personal data protection plus a discussion on the Statute of the Hague Conference on Private International Law.
