STEPANAKERT. – The adversary violated the ceasefire on the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces around 1,000 times, from February 22 to 28.

During this time, more than 11,000 shots were fired in the direction of Armenian military positions, and by way of rifle weaponry, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army reported.

The Defense Army vanguard units, however, primarily adhered to the ceasefire, and they took retaliatory actions solely when absolutely necessary.
