YEREVAN. – Roundtable discussions are held in Moscow, and they are devoted to the peculiarities of and prospects for the development of cooperation with Armenia within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).

At the event, Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Board member—Minister—Karine Minasyan spoke about the special conditions for Armenia’s EEU accession, and pointed to the new respective opportunities opening before the country, the EEC press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Minasyan stated that the EEU treaty envisions special privileges for the transitional period of Armenia’s EEU accession.

“Moreover, Armenia will bring its contribution to the [EEU] integration process,” she added.
