Anti-Armenian inscriptions appeared on the wall of Surb Astvatsatsin church in Istanbul.

The inscription was deleted from the wall of the church several days ago, Agos newspaper writes.

According to the newspaper, an inscription “If you all are Armenians – each of us is Samast” was replaced by “1915 is a blessed year”.

Representative of the church foundation Mesut Ozdemir said the church is located in a densely populated district, therefore it is impossible to find those who are leaving such inscriptions.

An inscription mentions the name of Ogun Samast, murderer of Armenian-Turkish journalist Hrant Dink.
