YEREVAN. – President Serzh Sargsyan issued a message of congratulations to the Assyrian community of Armenia, and on the occasion of Kha b’ Nisan, the Assyrian New Year.    

“The friendship and cooperation of the Armenian and Assyrian peoples have millennia of history. The historical destinies of our peoples also have many similarities.  

“I wish for the Assyrians living in Armenia, as well as scattered worldwide, that each new year bring them happiness and wellbeing,” the President’s message specifically reads.
