YEREVAN. – Senior noncommissioned officer Hayk Keshishoghlyan, 43, has died at the military position of a protection area of an Armenian military unit stationed in a northeasterly direction.

According to preliminary data, Keshishoghlyan had died as a result of the injuries he had sustained from the shots the Azerbaijani side had fired.

The Military Investigation General Department of Armenia has opened a criminal case in connection with this incident, and a respective investigation is underway, the Investigative Committee informed.
