YEREVAN. – Nobody vetoed the previous round of negotiations between EU are Armenia, Deputy Foreign Minister Garen Nazarian said.

He recalled that Armenia and the EU are negotiating a new document on cooperation, and nobody stated the failure of former document.

“A clear statement was defined during the Vilnius Eastern Partnership summit: the parties indicate that Armenia has completed negotiations on the Association Agreement and the Treaty on the deep and comprehensive free trade area,” he added.

Asked whether issue of trade area was voiced during the current talks, Nazarian said: “There is no such arrangement. The document indicates a trade and economic component.”
