Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian, who is in Paris on a working visit, on Wednesday met with OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs James Warlick (USA), Igor Popov (Russia) and Pierre Andrieu (France), and Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office.
The interlocutors continued the discussions on moving forward the peace process of the Karabakh-Azerbaijani conflict.
The Armenian FM drew the intermediaries’ attention on Azerbaijan’s militaristic rhetoric that continues at the highest level, statements that interfere with the peace talks, and ceasefire violations and acts of sabotage in recent weeks.
“The Azerbaijani authorities, by publicizing on the Internet the video of the diversion operation organized by themselves, respond in a strange way to the co-chairs’ calls for preparing the [two] societies for peace,” Nalbandian noted.
