Servicemen from the Russian military base—in Armenia—of the Southern Military Okrug (District) of the Russian Armed Forces participated in the rehearsals for the ceremonies to be held on May 9.

The celebrations will be devoted to the 70th anniversary of the ex-Soviet people’s victory achieved in the Great Patriotic War.

Soldiers from the Russian military base in Armenia’s Gyumri city, the border guards, and the Armenian Ministry of Defense servicemen took part in the joint rehearsals of the Russian military garrison troops, informed the Southern Military Okrug press service.

At the Mother Armenia Memorial in capital city Yerevan, the military servicemen experimented on the arrangement patterns for the forthcoming military parade.
