WASHINGTON, DC. – United States (US) Vice President Joe Biden, together with President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, who is in the US on a working visit, on Thursday will attend an interreligious prayer service.

The service will be offered at the Washington National Cathedral, and it will be in memory of the Armenian Genocide victims.

Biden’s press service informed the Washington, DC. reporter of Armenian News-NEWS.am that the US Vice President will be present at the remembrance ceremony devoted to the 100th anniversary of the extermination of the Armenian people in 1915.

To note, the Vice President of the United States (VPOTUS) is the second-highest public office in the country.
