Till the end of 2015, Armenian government will clear the wage arrears of the Nairit rubber plant, Armenia’s PM Hovik Abrahamyan said at the Parliament Wednesday, responding to ARF Dashnaktsutyun party MP Artvik Minasyan. “We’ll do our best to meet these deadlines,” the PM said.

“We’re trying to come up with solutions, for which we also work with the World Bank. Currently we’re solving the issues with shares. I think by early June we’ll have concrete proposals,” Abrahamyan said.

In 2006, Armenia sold 90 per cent of Nairit company’s shares to the British Consortium Rhinoville Property Limited for $40 million. Since then the company hasn’t practically appeared before the public or press.
