In addition, Ambassador Ghazaryan thanked Cimoszewicz for his contribution to Poland’s adoption—back in 2005—of a resolution that recognizes and condemns the Armenian Genocide. The Armenian diplomat also presented the Polish senator the main directions of Armenia’s foreign policy.

The head of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Polish Senate, for his part, noted that Armenia has always been and remains for Poland a friendship country, the development of cooperation with which stems from the interests of Poland. He also expressed the view that Armenia can be appealing for Polish investors, and Cimoszewicz especially underscored the enhancement of economic cooperation.
