STEPANAKERT. – The adversary violated the ceasefire on the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces around 250 times, from May 17 to 23.

During this time, more than 3,500 shots were fired in the direction of Armenian military positions, and by way of rifle weaponry, reported the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army. 

The Defense Army vanguard units, however, primarily adhered to the ceasefire, and they took retaliatory actions solely when absolutely necessary, reported the press service of the NKR Ministry of Defense.
