YEREVAN. – The twelve-month inflation rate in Armenia was 4.6 percent in 2014. The abovementioned is stated in the macroeconomics section of the Ministry of Finance 2014 State Budget Execution Report, whose debates have begun in the parliament.

Accordingly, last year’s average monthly inflation stood at 3.0 percent, including food products, alcohol and tobacco—a 2.2-percent increase (1.2-percentage-point contribution to inflation), and non-food products—a 1.7-percent rise (0.3-percentage-point contribution to inflation).

The service charge inflation rate made up 5.1 percent (1.6-percentage-point contribution to inflation).
