YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) was AMD 479.90/$1 in Armenia on Tuesday; this is up by AMD 1.58 from Monday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 523.67 (down by AMD 1.48), that of one British pound was AMD 739.33 (down by AMD 1.64), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 9.52 (down by AMD 0.05), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

One gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 265.28, AMD 18,517.06 and AMD 17,577.45, respectively.

Tuesday’s trading totaled USD 400,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 479/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 479/$1.
