Within the framework of the session of the expert panel on developing cooperation of Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) member-states in the sphere of nanomanufacturing,  the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Manufacturing Policy Department presented the results of the analysis on the state and development of nanomanufacturing in member-state. According to the Eurasian Economic Commission press service, the expert panel session was attended by the representatives of the parties’ national administration authorities, development institutions, as well as associations and organizations responsible for the development of nanomanufacturing and new materials from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia.  

In considering the results of the analysis, expert panel members discussed problematic issues of nanomanufacturing, obstacles in its development and ways of their removal, areas of cooperation, as well as possible interstate joint projects in the given sphere within the framework of the Union.

According to the EEU Manufacturing Policy Department Director Alexander Gotovski, achievements in nanomanufacturing and development of new materials can in the near future significantly change manufacturing technologies of goods in automobile production and engineering manufacture, energy production, transportation, construction, consumer industry and medicine.   

The experts of the parties arranged on the necessity of developing and approving by the EEU authorities of recommendations aimed at developing cooperation in the sphere of nanomanufacturing. The experts will set up a working group for drawing up such recommendations and summarizing the proposals submitted by the parties.
