YEREVAN. – An average family benefit in Armenia totaled 30,350 ($63) last year, Labor and Social Affairs Minister Artem Asatryan said in the parliament on Friday.
The average amount of the allowance increased by 1,000 drams since August, Asatryan said during hearing on implementation of the 2014 budget.
On average 104,100 families got family benefit, while 8,600 families received a one-time emergency assistance.
Around $90.8 million was allocated to family benefits over a year.
