An Armenian delegation, led by Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, will pay an official visit to the Czech Republic from June 1 to 3, and at the invitation of Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka of this country.

In the Czech capital city of Prague, Abrahamyan will meet with Sobotka. Subsequently, an extended meeting will be held between the two sides. Next, bilateral cooperation documents will be signed, and the two PMs will hold a joint news conference. Later, Hovik Abrahamyan and Bohuslav Sobotka will attend official opening of the Armenian-Czech Business Forum.

The Armenian PM also will meet separately with President Milan Štěch of the Czech Senate, President Jan Hamáček of the Czech Chamber of Deputies, and Cardinal Dominik Duka, who is the Archbishop of Prague. Abrahamyan is also scheduled to meet with representatives of the Armenian community in the Czech Republic.

In addition, the PM of Armenia will visit the Lidice Memorial in Prague and lay a wreath to the monument devoted to millions of children who died during the Second World War. Next, and together with Czech Minister of Culture Daniel Herman, Hovik Abrahamyan will participate in the official opening of an exhibition dedicated to the children who fell victims of the Armenian Genocide.
