RA President Serzh Sargsyan held a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev.

The Armenian leader offered his condolences on the death of people as a result of conflagrations throughout Russia. President Sargsyan pointed out that the Armenian people is well aware of the importance of friendly nations’ help and offers its help in extinguishing fires and dealing with the aftermath.

The Armenian and Russian leaders agreed to involve Armenian rescuers and fire fighters in struggling against the natural disaster.

NEWS.am reminds readers that 28 Armenian fire fighters will take part in fire extinguishing operations in Russia on August 5. Estonia, Ukraine and Azerbaijan stated their intention to help earlier.
