YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) was AMD 477.40/$1 in Armenia on Wednesday; this is up by AMD 0.21 from Tuesday.
The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 530.87 (up by AMD 6.63), that of one British pound was AMD 729.18 (up by AMD 0.70), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 8.95 (down by AMD 0.01), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.
One gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 256.32, AMD 18,308.01 and AMD 16,960.39, respectively.
Wednesday’s trading totaled USD 4.3 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 478.05/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 478.04/$1.
