YEREVAN. – The 8th annual DigiTec Business Forum of Armenia will be held this year on June 19 and 20, in capital city Yerevan.

The event is held under the patronage of the Prime Minister, and organized by the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE).

“The DigiTec Business Forum is a particularly important event. It is a platform for a dialogue of the IT [i.e. Information Technology] sector and other business sectors,” said UITE Chairman Aleksandr Yesayan, at a press conference on Wednesday.

The technology forum will bring together more than sixty companies from the country’s IT and several other business sectors as well as public administration organizations.

Before the start of the forum, however, the number of companies and visitors is expected to reach seventy and 3,000, respectively.

Presentations on local and international track-record, plenary sessions, seminars, and several other discussions on a number of topics will be held during the two-day event.

In addition, the Digibusiness awards for non-IT companies applying technological solutions will be presented for the first time within the framework of the DigiTec Business Forum.
