YEREVAN. - Armenian police made a statement, claiming that the march taking place in capital Yerevan against electricity price hike is illegal. (photos)

Referring to the Law on Police and Administrative Violations Code, the police stated that in case of disobeying lawful requirements of the police or counteraction, the march will no longer be considered peaceful and will be stopped in accordance with the manner provided by law.  

The police warn that they are authorized to use physical force and special measures with regard to the violators.
