YEREVAN. – Armenian activists protesting against hike in electricity prices offered to play football with police officers.

Protesters addressed Deputy Chief of Yerevan Police Valery Osipyan who said he will be happy to accept an offer after the protests are over.

“As soon as the situation in the city becomes stable, we will gladly play football with you. I am sure police officers will win,” Osipyan said.

At the moment traffic at Baghramyan Avenue is still blocked.
