YEREVAN. - Armenian Police will not take any measures against the protestors in Yerevan’s Baghramyan Avenue this night either, Yerevan Deputy Chief of Police Valery Osipyan told Armenian News – NEWS.am and the initiative members.

Osipyan told Vaghinak Shushanyan, “No to Plunder” initiative member, that the activists’ actions must remain within the limits prescribed by law, otherwise the law enforcement authorities will call them to order. He also said the automated system may switch off the street lights, but the police will mediate and the lights will be on again in a few minutes.

Responding to the question on whether Yerevan Chief of Police Vladimir Gasparyan may come to Baghramyan Avenue, Osipyan said: “It’s not excluded.”

The protest is continuing in Baghramyan Avenue at the moment.
