YEREVAN. - [Armenia’s President] Serzh Sargsyan’s announcement isn’t a solution to the problem, opposition MP Nikol Pashinyan told Armenian News – NEWS.am.
“As to the protestors, the movement must itself decide whether to stay in or leave Baghramyan Avenue,” Pashinyan said.
He also drew parallels between today’s statement and that in which Sargsyan was urging to once again investigate the case of March 1. “We can see that nothing has changed as a result,” he said.
Pashinyan said he has been with the protestors since the first day of the movement with only one purpose, namely to prevent clashes. He also said he’ll support the struggling youth as long as they are in Baghramyan Avenue.
